ESPC HIRES NEW DAIRY NUTRITIONIST FOR HARVESTORE

Engineered Storage Products Company announces the appointment of Greg Anderson, M.S., as Consulting Nutritionist to serve customers of its Harvestore® brand.
“In his new position, Anderson will provide assistance to dairymen who are Harvestore owners on the development of their herd rations, particularly the use of forages in dairy nutritional programs,” says Rick Jones, Vice President of Sales. “He also will consult with the company and provide assistance with future company sponsored research into forage quality improvement, deliver presentations to interested dairy groups in Wisconsin and other dairy states and advise the company on quality improvements.”
A consulting nutritionist for 24 years, Anderson remains owner of Greg Anderson Nutrition Services in Monroe, Wisconsin. He is a 1979 graduate of the University of Illinois, where he achieved an MS degree in Ruminant Nutrition.
Anderson lives in Monroe, Wisconsin and travels frequently in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois consulting with dairy herds and feed mills.

ESPC HIRES NATIONAL SALES MANAGER FOR ITS AG DIVISION

ESPC announces the hiring of Richard (Dick) Nelles as the Agricultural Sales Manager for its Ag Division.
“Dick has been an advisor to the company on sales of its Harvestore® and Slurrystore® product lines for years. As a past owner of a Harvestore and Slurrystore dealership, he is our resident expert in forage and nutrient management,” says Rick Jones, ESPC Vice President of Sales. “As the Agricultural  Sales Manager, he will oversee sales of all ESPC agricultural products nationally and in Canada.”
Nelles also developed the company’s Storage Pro® software program that helps dairy producers analyze feed storage economics, comparing Harvestore to other storage options.
Storage Pro is an impartial way to help farmers use data from their own farm to calculate all the costs associated with use of a Harvestore unit as well as concrete bunkers, concrete stave silos or storage bags. The software allows dairy producers to enter their own costs for construction, maintenance, spoilage, and routine operating expenses to give an overall return on investment for each storage option.
Nelles and his wife, June, will be relocating to DeKalb from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
